Plateaued after amazing first month? SW:195 CW:181 GW:175

I been on the 16:8 schedule for the last 60+ days. My first month was GREAT & lost 12LBS (5.4 Kg), but these last 30 days my weight has been stagnant. My diet hasn’t changed, so I am not sure how to overcome this issue.

I’m 6’1 in my 30’s. My calorie intake is 2000 or less and drink 100-150 oz of water per day. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Answer

Adjust how many calories you eat as you lose weight. The TDEE calculator is great at helping you figure out how much to consume in a day, how much to eat to maintain (which could be a plateau) and common sense, going above will cause weight gain.

Shortening windows helped too Try 19:5 or 20:4 to ramp up. If you’re solid on 16;8 this shouldn’t be hard to do.

But I bet you need a few less calories.

Also while weight may not be changing be sure to measure yourself, you can still lose inches but not weight for awhile.

good luck!
