Hit a plateau unexpectedly: ;

I was 71 kgs as of October 10. Started an 16:8 IF from then. The progress was astounding and‍ then I hit a plateau in 64.1 kg. My GW: 57kg. I have PCOS so I stopped milk consumption. My calorie intake is almost only from home-cooked food. I don’t eat sweetmeats, or indulge in highly fatty food. I’m a little concerned about what might be happening. I hit the plateau two weeks ago. Please could you share if you’ve had similar experiences? How had you overcome those? Age:24, height: 5’3”, goal:reduce fat

Answer

I’d highly recommend taking other measurements on your body. Waist/chest/arms. For me I could stay stable on the scale but really feel the difference in how my pants were fitting. Sometimes body composition is happening but we are too focused on the scale and then it’s easy to get off the wagon.
