so ya i’ve tried IF before and its works i saw the results lost 15 lbs in a few months, so i know i can do it if i stick to it.
so the other day i stepped on the scale 263lbs … wow in my head i thought i was 255lbs so wake up call for me.
i started on Tuesday 7-3-2023 gonna do 16-8 so no eating 8pm to 12am next day.
for now it sucks im used to late night snacking so when i go to bed im hungry, even when i wake up im hungry, i know it will get better and that empty feeling is a good thing it means i can start using up my stored fat vs always be digesting.
anyways im gonna try and maintain and not cheat on Fridays when i go out with friends, will see if i can get back down to 240 … even 220 but thats a dream for now.
when it comes to breakfast usually i would start with some sugar free Metamucil, will that interrupt my fast or is that ok?
I would wait until you break your fast to take the Metamucil. And if you can’t quite make it to noon then try to hold off as long as you can each morning. Eventually it gets much easier and you will be in a groove. You got this!
I am a late night snacker so have my 16:8 window from either 2-10 or 3-11 so I can still enjoy my munchies in the evening. During the day I am busy w work so it helps to distract from the hunger. Good luck!!

As for your question: you ask regarding breakfast. Look at the word breakfast- it’s literally breaking the fast. Sugar free or not. Sugar is not the point. eating or drinking any calories of any kind will break your fast.
