Intermittent fasting newbie question

Hello all! Happy new year Im doing 16:8 IF, I’m four days in. It’s all been fine so far I go out to dinner with my colleague every Wednesday - this is a non negotiable as its a crucial part of my social life (where I have limited social interaction at the moment) I’m off work til next Wednesday but look to start eating at 8/9am and start fasting at 9pm to do a 12h fast once a week - but I’m not sure if it’s possible Im just wondering if it’s possible to stay on the path to success but with changed hours for once a week? As in 16:8 for six days and, say, 12:12 for one day? In general, actually, do you have any advice for IF fitting in with socialising/eating out while doing IF? I won’t use it as an excuse to eat crap food but just wondering what to watch out for. I am a greedy fuck so I need to be careful (which I know comes down to me but prearmed is prewarned)

Yes it should be fine to alter your hours to fit your schedule, I’ve had no problem doing that. My eating window is generally 12pm to 6pm but on weekends I shift it later because that’s usually when I go out to eat with friends.
