Is it ok to have breakfast and lunch, and don't have dinner?

Is it bad to go to bed hungry? I want to start IF but leaving out dinner. So can someone tell me if it is ok, and if there are any studies supporting your advice?

There has been a few recent studies that demonstrate there is more benefit to ETRF (early time restricted feeding) from a hormone and circadian rhythm standpoint. So you are actually doing great if you eat a morning meal and mid day meal and do not eat dinner. It’s not bad to go to bed hungry

I do Omad with my one meal around 11 or 12 and believe it or not I never feel remotely hungry until the next day. It makes it so easy because it feels like I’m just listening to my body tell me what it needs and losing weight without really trying. Probably helps that one tends to drink way less alcohol when only eating lunch. I just have tea or sparkling water while my husband eats dinner and it doesn’t feel difficult since I’m not actually hungry.

Yes it’s ok , as long as u fast for 16 hours or more u get to choose the hours u fast and the hours u fest . I go according to my work schedule. Mines 8am to 4pm then i fast the rest of the time . So I fast from 4pm to 8am the next day , because I have to be at work at 4am . So this was easier for me , sometiems my my feeding hours shorten depending on if I even have money to eat lol I hope this helps
