I’m 26(F), height 157.5cm, weight 57kgs. I’m skinny fat, with dominant visceral fat around my tummy area. My current Body Fat mass is 23.9 kg.
My end goal is to lose weight, gain muscle, and have a toned healthy figure.
I just started working out, and have been doing 16-8 IF for the past month regularly.
Do you think it would hinder my progress, by not letting me gain muscles?

It will work.
You will get better results by doing high intensity interval training for your workouts.
You will also get better results if you look at 16-8 as the minimum and try to move up to 20-4 or even an OMAD once or twice a week.
