I haven’t been all that healthy the last couple of years. I didn’t know anything about health and thought I could just eat anything because I was thin. A couple of months ago I started eating whole foods only and doing intermittent fasting. I felt better after mere days. I always had these horrible migraine attacks where I went blind and had to stay in bed all day. They disappeared fairly quickly. The last couple of weeks I’ve taken it a step further with OMAD and fast for 22 hours every day.
I started noticing something.
Do you know that feeling on a hot and dry summer day. Maybe you’re at work or school and haven’t been able to drink for a while. It makes the water taste so much better. Now the same could be said about fasting. When I break my fast, my food taste so much better than it would if I were to eat thrice a day. Its amazing really. It also makes it a lot easier for me to enjoy some of the healthier food options. I never really had an appetite, I would always choose bad food over healthy ones because of it. But daily fasting makes me very hungry in the evening.
I can’t wait to have a nice steak with some fruit later today.

A lot of truth in this, everything we make is delicious. If your not eating carbs the most miniscule thing tastes super sweet also. I had a bite of my wife’s low carb tortilla, it tasted like pure sugar.
