Long distance running question

I enjoy running and am training for a half marathon in the spring. I usually run in the mornings and I like my eating window in the evenings. Do you get used to running fasted and then going to work after? I feel like the exercise will make me really hungry and I will struggle focusing. Any tips to manage this are appreciated.

On the bright side, I am sure it will put me deeper into fat burning on days I run and fast.

Answer

Running blunts hunger for me, so running in the morning and skipping breakfast works great for me. Some days hunger hits pretty hard before lunch, but it usually passes fairly quickly and doesn’t happen until pretty close to lunch time.
