I’m thinking of doing a water fast for 2 days. Any tips on how to do it properly?
Look for an electrolyte mix from Amazon, check reviews when you’re browsing to see if people recommend them for fasting. I got to a 30 or so with just pink salt in water but I felt awful and had to break it, I’ve just finished a 48 using an electrolyte formula and felt great and could have easily gone longer I think just didn’t want to push it as it’s my first longer fast. Honestly the only wrong way to do it is by eating something.
To get the most out of your fast take the time to learn your triggers. After my first fast I had quite a bit of homework to do in order to remove those. For me it was afternoon snacking at work, now I don’t snack anymore because it seriously messes with my fasts.
