Need help

I’m planning to try a 48 hour fast. I already did that a few times before. But when I did my first 48 hour fast, it was summer break so i typically woke up at around 11-12 pm and it wasn’t really hard for me to fast. But now I’m going to school and I have to get up everyday at 6 am and i tried to fast but I couldn’t do it. I really wanna do it again because I feel it would help my diet a lot, but I need help and advice on how to stay without food. Can someone please give me some advice?

Answer

I read a book about IF and I found from the first few chapters I learned, or rather unlearned, some things. I learned what a body does during fasting and how it’s not dangerous but normal. I’ve never tried to do a fast that long yet bc I’m a newbie, but I understand it’s good to shake up your routine once in a while because it’s good for your metabolic rate. So is eating a lot occasionally, for the same reason. The book was called Fast. Feast. Repeat. and I heard about it in a thread here. The science is fascinating, and it’s entirely science based, so book nerds like myself really like it. Anyway it give me confidence to do the fasting, but I think I’d rather choose to shake things up by eating a lot, occasionally. Good luck.
