NEED SOME HELP

I have been doing IF with low sugar/low carbs for about 45 days now with mostly 16:8 and 18:6. It has been going great and I have lost about 15 pounds. About four days ago I started having really bad headaches and muscle twitching. I tried putting some table salt in my bottle of water as a quick fix because I figured my electrolytes might be depleted and that help momentarily. I have been making sure I have a lot of electrolytes during my fasting window but still been feeling drained. Just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this while doing IF or have any suggestions. For context I work out 5-6 times a week and have been on a vegetarian diet for almost 25 years.

Answer

Maybe vitamins would help - vegetarians can end up short on some vitamins like B12, calcium, and zinc. Multivitamins are kind of a scam, but would look into targeted vitamins or just look into specific foods with those vitamins. I am not a doctor though, and would suggest you talk to one.
