Non perishable food to break fast in case of emergency?

Can someone suggest the best shelf stable food item I could keep in my desk at work in case I absolutely have to break my extended fast during my work hours? Something low carb, preferably. Thanks for any suggestions

Answer

It’s not necessarily nonperishable but if you have access to a freezer and microwave, I keep pureed vegetable soup in the freezer in case of emergencies and when it’s time to break my fast I drink them

Answer

Canned tuna/salmon. I would avoid nuts and nut butters, most fasting specialists dont recommend breaking your fast with those (I forgot the reason, please check thomas delauer on youtube)

You can also keep a jar of bone broth paste in there? You’d just need to add hot water

Answer

I wouldn’t get something super carby as it will just make you hungry again within an hour or so. So choose things like low carb protein bars, nuts, pumpkin seeds etc. (in sealed containers), peanut butter packets, stuff like that.
