are there any really chewy healthy foods with the mouthfeel of gummy candy or licorice?
Ben Greenfield makes this pretty good gealatin squares that are basically seetened coco water and gelatin. Super filling if you’re feeling snacky or want to bite into something. I tried making these with just mio, coco water, and gelatin with a pinch of salt and they were really good!

Dried meat, specifically biltong. It’s south african dried meat with no sugary marinade like most american jerkies have, and it is air dried so it has no nitrates on it. Just pure chewy delicious protein.
Dried fruit is very high in sugar and should not be included in a “healthy diet” as they are condensed sugar. you could make a jello with grass fed glyphosate free collagen and some copped fruit, sweetened with stevia. https://www.diynatural.com/how-to-make-homemade-licorice-recipe/ that recipe looks good for a natural licorice but you will be consuming a lot of sugar! also worth a try is any Dark chocolate dipped frozen fruit (melt the chocolate and mix with coconut oil, little stevia and vanilla) also a fun easy pretty healthy sweet treat! Easy to google recipes for. Good luck on your health journey!
Make your own gummies out of juice and gelatin. Omit the honey if you want, add more gelatin packs for chewier texture. Cheap enough to try a few batches to get it how you like

Thin rice noodles like this (random site but you can find them at most Asian grocery stores). If I want a savory breakfast I’ll put these in miso soup with any veggies I have on hand.
Oh man, I am looking for the same thing, but I don’t do sugar, so these intenaely sugary fruit suggestions are all non starters!
Albaneae has a sugar free gummy and is the best gummy candy by far, but would love options free of sugar alcohols as well!
