Really Irritably

Just ticked off at everything right now, anyone knows why this might be? This doesn’t usually happen when fasting. Anything to alleviate it maybe?

First day, yes I took my electrolytes.

Maybe additional external stressors this time around? All i can suggest is take it easy today and get plenty of alone time if you can. Herbal tea, warm bath/shower, or if you have any other relaxation rituals those may help ease the tension

Ticked off? … or just can’t stand what you normally let slide? Fasting opens your eyes my friend.

Unfortunately fasting makes me very sharp (in many ways) - a good thing or a bad thing. The lies you might tell yourself when you aren’t fasting are exactly the truths you can’t avoid right now. It’s like lifting the wool from your eyes and - I too have become incapable of the usual avoidance of truths. You can’t help but pull the sheet off your problems and confronting them while deep into a fast.

I find this state is normal for me and is usually for good - take this time to consider making changes to your life for the better - kick to the curb bad habits and those who you know you’re feigning friendship or relationship. Im in day 3 of my fast and I’m already confronting those kept under the sheet problems.

Use it for good and to better yourself.
