Stats 5’6” SW 174, CW155, GW 135. First time post long time lurker (you have all been so helpful!) Mostly omad with some 40+ hr fasts (1-2 per week). This last week felt brutal, thinking a lot about food. I planned to do 2x 40 but didn’t make it. Mostly low carb on refeeds.
Cut carbs a bit more, or first focus on eating meat first, then on the the rest of the meal.
Mix up the fasting times, try to go 48hrs or 72hrs. I find it harder when I’m too consistent.
Otherwise, keep reminding yourself “eyes on the prize!” for ex. I have a goal (not a scale number to reach, those are not inaccurate and too frustrating) by the end of the year, I wanna reach it or get as close as I can to it by then. Remember your goal, or make smaller goals and aim for the next one.
If you are having anything with flavor during your fast, stop. No flavored coffee, no flavored tea, no diet soda, no flavored seltzer. Plain coffee, tea, water or sparkling water only. Some will say they don’t effect weight loss, however, they darn will effect hunger.
