Answer

this is the only thing I found. Have to scroll down a bit to get to the excess nitrous oxide part. Don’t think they list sources but it is a start!

Purely anecdotal but agmatine consistently gives me what feels like angina/chest pain. Not sure if it’s because I’m super vascular at my baseline, or if it is unrelated GI distress that just feels like chest pain. Need to try it again as it has been a few years.

Answer

Nitric oxide?

I don’t think it’s nitric acid you’re taking.

Nitric oxide are a colorless toxic gas formed in many reactions in which nitric acid is reduced, as in reaction with copper. It reacts immediately with oxygen to form nitrogen dioxide.
