Hi all! I’m new to this doing 16:8 and my window is 11:00-7:00. I’ve found that when I’m trying to sleep but am hungry, my body gets really restless. The other night I even woke up with a growling stomach. Has anyone else experienced this or have a fix? I really don’t understand why I’m hungry in the middle of the night. Maybe I was snacking after dinner a lot more than I thought?
Yes, similar experience for me in the beginning. I was used to late night snack, so essentially my feeding window was of 16 hours. Sudden shift to 8 hours feeding window definitely caused me troubled sleeping, headaches for 7-10 days.
If you want, you can start with 14-10 for a week then gradually shift to 16-8. I remember somebody mentioning in this sub on the similar topic, that carbs intake in last meal helps you sleep better.
