IF and trouble with my sleep

How long does it take for your sleep become normal? I have a lot of difficulties to sleep when I do IF. Plus in the beginning I lose weight (probably water weight) I will pee a lot

I am 33 days into OMAD. I’m up at 230am this morning, here typing this reply. It has changed my sleep pattern. I’m sleeping as I can now. It varies for me currently. Others I know that IF = no change. Thx

I experience this too.. if I go off fast and eat some carbs I go right back to sleep .

It’s weird but if I want to stay on fast I drink a little black coffee at night when I wake up ( believe it or not) and I go back to sleep.. Google “coffee naps”.. Something to do with adenosine levels in the brain.. may not work if u do not already drink coffee though

Edit: I am 3 years into 18/6

Answer

I have a really hard time not eating at night time and sleeping. I am so hungry I find it extremely difficult to sleep on an empty stomach. It is not true that eating will make you sleepy. This is an unhealthy way of thinking and words of self affirmation help me get to sleep. My stomach is grumbling as I write this and all I can think about is peanut butter on a spoon. Well good luck and good night.
