Two 48 hour dry fasts back to back

I just finished a 48 hour fast when I was planning 5 days. Is it fine to refeed this one day in between then get back into fasting or is it too soon?

Go with the flow. I fell off dry-fasting for 2 months and it’s been so challenging for me to hop back on it. Day 1 tomorrow. But I used to do 4 days dry then a few day refeed then back to it so I think it would be ok.

Absolutely. But refeed mildly to start, you might only need a light break.

I’m not actively fasting currently, but last year I worked myself up to 12 day dry fasts. It took a lot of practice and I broke a lot of shorter fasts earlier than I planned because I felt I needed to. Listening to my body is one of the most helpful skills I learned from fasting.

If you’re really concerned about not breaking your fast, try something like nibbling on a bullion cube. It’s essentially just seasoned salt which you should be consuming anyway, and may resolve discomfort without actually breaking a fast

It always worked for me either by getting me over a mental hump or by heightening the signal from my body to refeed.
