Don’t overthink it, it’s not that big of a deal.Don’t even think about how much weight you can lose in a single day of fasting, you will develop an eating disorder.Fasting IS healthy and gets great results in short time, but don’t rush it.I’d suggest not to do high intensity excersices,

I drink water. You can also drink unsugared tea, and black coffee

There are looots of videos on how to break a fast that explain it extensevly

Funny enough, I didn’t plan my first extended fast. I was doing 16/8 and was attempting 20/4 one day and didn’t feel hungry so I kept going until 43hrs LOL

During that time, I just drank a lot of water. Usually I drink 2.5L/day but especially during waves of hunger I’d drink a full glass then or just drink a hot coffee or tea. It’ll pass. At night, I’m not usually hungry. I don’t remember feeling ravenous or not being able to fall asleep bc of hunger. If anything I had too much energy so a bit of a restless night. Once you’re past any expected eating times your body tends to act as if you’ve eaten and moves on. Just remember to keep busy. I folded a lot of laundry during the time I was home so fasting while at work is a lot easier to forget about food.

Definitely doable if you keep your drinks to water, black coffee, plain tea. Good luck!

Edit to add: I ate normally after the fast, low carb is my usual. Just something simple to restart the gut, coffee w/cream & erythritol, moved on to salad, then protein.I lost 2 lbs and to my surprise, kept it off. I wasn’t expecting that!

As the posters before me mentioned, don’t overthink it! Mine first 24 hr fast was totally unplanned. I was just feeling good, not watching the fasting minutes tick by, etc.!

In my own opinion, if you’re feeling hungry, fatigued and your body is telling you it’s just not the right time, don’t force anything! That’s what makes people want to quite. But at some point, the timing will be right.

Meh… I’m doing 19:5, but ended at 27 hrs today.Don’t overthink it. You can easily go for a month without food if you are just a normal person.

I didn’t feel hungry at all and thought about just keep going, but in the other hand I felt obligated to eat dinner with my family 🤷🏼‍♂️

Remember to drink water. Enjoy ☺️

As long as you eat enough calories/food beforehand you shouldn’t really suffer or struggle much at all. I did OMAD for 2 months and the only time it was difficult was when I first started and wasn’t eating enough food.
