Going to eat breakfast this morning and then fast for 3 days too. Stopped last week’s fast at about 50 hours because I had a persistent headache that water and electrolytes didn’t touch. I think the culprit was a hot yoga class on day 2 that left me dehydrated. Couldn’t seem to recover from that. Did a 5 day fast after Christmas and had a brief headache on day 3 but I didn’t exercise at all during that fast. Time to try again.

I’m just dipping my toes into fasts that are longer than 24 hours! I did two 48 hour fasts last week and threw in some fasted workouts. They went surprisingly well. Next week I’m going to try a 72 hour fast, which means I need to get more serious about the electrolytes. I’ve been doing propel mixed with Himalayan pink salt and NoSalt, but I need to start actually measuring and tracking, as well as pick up some magnesium supplements, I think. So far I love fasting, and I never want to go back to eating like I was before.
