hi! my longest fast so far have been a 5 days fast and i lost a pretty decent amount of weight. the thing is i only done dirty fast if you wanna call it like that, basically i still put some unsweetened almond milk into my coffee. it has 13kcal for 100ml and 0g or carbs. would i lose more weight if i wasn’t consuming ANY calories? or is the weight loss based on the calorie deficit that we create more than the fasting itself?
Are you still crazy hungry about 3 days in? I just have heard that any amount of calories will stop whatever process that makes your hunger sort of not be as bad as it is the first 2 or so days. I hope that sentence makes sense. I am not an expert but I don’t think it would be enough calories to cause a big difference in weight, just maybe make you more hungry throughout the fast.

Possibly. The benefits of fasting go beyond CICO to shifting your hormones. The believed advantage of clean fasting is that insulin is not triggered/stimulated/released. 13kcal for 100ml is going to have a higher insulin response compared to pure black coffee.
