What do you know about green powders/veggie powders?

Im a MS student studying dietetics and Ive been growing curious on green powders. On occasion, I don’t eat enough to consume enough veggies to meet my RDI, so I was thinking about implementing a green powder scoop or two into my smoothies or in a glass of water. However, I can’t seem to find any literature on them. Would y’all happen to know any fun facts about them? Is it all a gimmick? Do they actually contain the veggies/nutrients the labels say they do? Do you have a brand you recommend? Do you recommend it at all? Any info is extremely helpful! Thank you!

Answer

I’m curious about these drinks as well and have been interested in Athletic Greens for how many vitamins and minerals are included. Seems like it really does contain what it claims to. I’ve only not tried because of cost.
