It’s showing me the unhealthy relationship with food I’ve developed over the last 20 years. Breaking my food habits and it feels way easier to eat healthier foods now honestly. Easier to control my random cravings for junk food or fast food or something.

In conjunction with psychotherapy, it’s also been a great tool in lessening binge eating. My guess is that it kills off bad bacteria that may cause cravings for trigger foods.

One day fasts are not giving me any benefits, so my minimum is 3 days but favorite is 5 days. Another positive effect of the dry fast is reduced hepatic lipid enzymes (fatty liver) which showed on my blood test.
