Answer

try going strictly bone broth and water, avoid carbs 24-48 hours before you start so you can enter into ketosis sooner. 12 hours before the fast begins drink/eat as much aloe vera / natural laxatives as possible so you don’t have poop fermenting inside. organic turmeric powder or thc/hemp makes it easier to poop. much of the anxiety stems from backed up poop and this is exactly why most people can’t go beyond 72 hours. squatting on the toilet seat with a straight back helps to poop easier, might have to look upwards with tongue for the more difficult ones.

the people recommending fruits is literally the worse thing you can do because you’re feeding the body more carbs it has to use before you’re fully into ketosis.

whenever the fast becomes challenging, have some salt and take a hot and very cold shower to get the blood flow moving throughout, switch between these extreme temperatures every minute or so. the science here is called vasoconstriction and vasodilation.

Pre-fast meals and refeeds should be meat, raw meat, eggs, raw milk, liver. These have all the bioavailable nutrients you need (without the anti-nutrients of plants and especially high carb foods) and will completely digest into liquid within an hour. The cellulose in plants will not digest fully. Vegans are gonna hate my comment, but it’s true.
