When I trained with a bikini coach, I was told eat 1500 calories a day

And I had my macros calculated taking in 160 grams if daily protein

How much calories are you guys eating a day and what are your macros look like? Or do you even count it at all?

I feel like one meal a day or a very small window of time to eat is going to be what helps me because when I was training with him I was doing fasting as well. I would usually just eat two bigger meals during the day but I don’t want to fuss with more than one meal just for the mere sake of convenience.

I also don’t want to go under my calories though or not get enough protein so any thoughts?

I don’t count. 18:6 most days, sometimes 19:5 or OMAD. Been losing pretty steadily since last July, but maybe only a pound a week. I’m in no hurry, and I want to enjoy my journey.

For meals, my fastbreaker is usually savory oatmeal with kale or soybeans, chia, flaxseed, an egg, and sometimes avocado. Dinner is whatever, but it usually includes a healthy amount of veggies and some form of protein.

Calorie needs are a personal thing. What is your height/weight/sex? Someone that is 5’2’’ and female may maintain their same weight at 1400 calories a day if they’re not very active and another 5’2’’ female may need to eat 1900 a day to maintain the same weight. It’s completely dependent on your own body, lean muscle mass, and activity level. Best thing to do is use a BMR calculator to calculate your base rate and go from there. It’s a lot of trial and error on what works for you personally

Remember not to overdo if you are not working out as heavily. I know a trainer that told women training with her to eat 4 hard boiled eggs per serving because of protein. Same with other items. They lost weight and gained muscle but when they stopped training with her they didn’t change how they are and gained it all back as they weren’t burning as many calories.
