17 lbs in 6 days

I broke my fast today! I’m super proud of myself for making it a full 6 days. I wanted to go longer but I was dealing with a lot of gas which made me feel nauseous and I was also dealing with acid reflux which I never have before. I’ll probably fast again sometime in April because i was sleeping well and my skin looked amazing. I was also waking up with a lot of energy which was nice! Thank to the people here who answered all my questions!!!!

Great job! Congrats on the progress, and welcome to ketosis.

A lot of the 17 lbs is water loss, so don’t get discouraged if you gain some water weight back once you start eating.

However, if you want to keep the water weight off, try changing your diet to a Keto diet. Most Keto eater take 4-5 weeks to get into ketosis by just eating a Keto diet without fasting. You already got there in 6 days, and your body is already adapted to burning fat for fuel. So don’t waste what you had achieved.
