I just wanted to say that- I used to do full day fasts once a week, and it was a bit of a struggle. But I had in recent months started the bad habit of eating late, and it was affecting the quality of my sleep. So I implemented only eating from 12-6pm(18 for military time), and it makes such a difference!
I sleep better.
I enjoy food more.
I’m more productive and structured.
And it’s also helping me maintain/gradually lower my current weight!
It just baffles me, how many people still think fasting is an impossible/bad decision. But being disciplined about when I eat has given me so much more of an appreciation for what I do get to eat and enjoy. I really think this is the solution for a lot of people; to simply manage when they eat over how they eat.
Thank you to everyone in this community as well- I wouldn’t have learned as much as I have about fasting without all of you!
IMHO full day is the worst thing to do. End of the first day is always terrible due to the change in metabolism. Do several days or do twelve to six like you’re doing.
Great to hear that it works well for you!
