As the title states I am 3 days into my first dry fast, and my first realization is that this is exceptionally easier than a water fast. I do have some questions as I am for 7 days dry fast.

the first question is the most important regarding breaking fast…
Is is 100% necessary to add baking soda to water and sip for an hour.
Also could I drink Celery juice instead of a magnesium/potassium supplement.
celery juice has plenty of K Mg and Na and considerably less sugar than coconut water.

I am not opposed to the baking soda, Mg K supplement approach I would just prefer to go the most natural route if possible.
there are threads when people refeed too soon and go through terrible stomach trauma. after you finish your fast try to just have water and some salt for the first 72 hours. everybody responds uniquely when going into new territory. most importantly listen to your intuition because everything in the gastrointestinal system shrinks and if you introduce foods too soon these might get stuck in your esophagus.
