I am a regular faster and have completed many long and short dry fast with out any issues. I am having a small surgery on the 23rd and wanted to fast before . Is this a nad idea. Will it cause any issue?
Great question. On a four-day, I might be concerned about your veins shrinking and making it difficult for any diagnostic blood draws or anesthetic via a drip. I can see a twenty-four hour water fast ahead of surgery to get food out of your digestive tract.
Just curious, why DF before surgery instead of after?
