I typically have HORRIBLE 7-day periods. I started a 7-day fast the first day of my last period to see if it helped (out of curiosity), and it was like night and day! So much less pain, NO huge clots like I typically get, no bloat, etc., and I lost 10#.
Will definitely incorporate fasting into my cycle from now on!
Definitely caused cycle changes for me, became much more erratic and I don’t think I was ovulating for a while either.
I ended up going on the OCP (also because I jumped back into the dating pool) and then I was better able to regulate everything and feel more normal again.
