Advice for round 2 of intermittent fasting

Hello friends! About a year ago I tried intermittent fasting, the 4/20 schedule. Containing my eating to a 4h box worked well, and I lost about 10 pounds. At that point however weight loss stopped. I tried eating less (in case I was overdoing it in the 4h window), or even a little more, but it didn’t seem to work. Eventually I moved away from IF.

I’m now trying IF again, same 20/4 schedule. I am 210lb and I need to get to ~180lb. My current plan is to IF 5 days a week, instead of every single day, and go from there.

Do y’all have any tips on what I should do to ensure I keep losing weight? Thanks!

Seems like a lack of weight loss turned you away the last time. It might be helpful to look for something else that motivates you. Are you able to fit into your old clothes? Have your energy levels changed at all? How has your relationship with food changed - are you now feeling less cravings, or maybe just feel less hangry? I think either of these might help you keep motivated, and help you keep going.

Another suggestion - try a fasting app. Just seeing the number of days a month you’ve fasted could be a motivator in itself.
