Recently was diagnosed with pcos or what my doctor thinks is pcos but we’re not 100% sure yet. The only symptoms I have is weight gain and skipped periods. The weight is becoming a huge issue for me, no matter what I’ve done I am not losing, just gaining or staying the same (so far I’ve been doing diet and exercise). I feel so tired all the time due to the extra weight. It’s ruined my confidence and makes me so uncomfortable physically.
If anyone has had good results treating these pcos issues with fasting that’ll be good to know. I’m also starting medication for it (birth control) which makes me worried for more weight gain/ water gain.

So. Fasting works on exactly the same principle as the ketogenic diet. On steroids. When you aren’t eating, your body is literally living off nothing but your own stored fats. You go into the highest ketogenic state possible very quickly. This will fix a lot of hormonal problems. 😊
