My body adjusted to OMAD.
I get:
Does the same thing happen with rolling 48s?
Does the body adjust and remove the hunger for the entire 47 hours after your meal?
Or will you get hungry again after 23 hours?
The reason I have my doubts is, the body’s clock works on 24 hours.
So by that logic it would not be possible to acclimate to rolling 48s because by 24 hours, it will always expect the meal to come and hence I’d get hungry again.
Anyone have experience with this?
If the body learns to withhold hunger for the entire 47 hours after a meal, that would be incredible.
Would be awesome :D
I did 40 days of 40:8 and I got used to it.
You can’t go forever though because you can’t simply eat enough calories. I lost 10-12 kilos in that period. During the eating time I ate whatever I wanted.
Exactly what others said. Your body will adapt. I’ve done OMAD and then switched to rolling 48s and then rolling 72s, and now eat 2 days a week only. It’s all a mental battle. I don’t even do keto or carnivore, and I’m already adapted. Drink your snake juice and make sure the concentration is high IF you are hungry more or struggling. People underestimate how much salt you really need. Depending on the temperature, activity level, refeeds, etc. You’ll need anywhere between 2 to 5 GRAMS of salts per day (sodium and potassium).
A lot of people who struggle bad are not taking their electrolytes properly from what I see… 🤷♂️
I do rolling 48s to lose weight, I’ve lost 18kgs so far in 3-4 months but I’m 6ft 1 male. You are in the perfect position to start, as I was in the same boat as you, as you just have to skip one meal.
It’s gets easier over time, I drink sparkling water, and have electrolytes on point.
Yes, you may experience hunger sometimes, but usually for me that’s stress hunger. Which goes away if I do the task that solves the problem that I’m stressing about.
I started 48s on monday after a long period of not fasting.Right now for me it’s perfect because on the first day it’s tough and you power through it( though i imagine it’ll be easier the more I do it). The second day is mentally easier because you know you’re eating later (keto refeed). So the whole experience is short and effective and like I said the more you do it the bettet your body gets at it .I started sunday afternoonand broke my fast on tuesday around the sane time I started. Wednesday was much easier than sunday. Since you been doing omaf on keto it will be easier for you to transition IN THEORY.
