Anyone else starting rolling 48s or 72s heading into the workweek?

It turns out my body doesn’t like extended water fasting (keto rash) so I’m embarking on rolling 48s and 72s heading into the week.

I plan to break my fasts with a high protein, moderate fat, and moderate carb meal. I’m not keto, so low carb doesn’t matter to me.

Anyone else embarking on new or continued rolling fasts? :) Would love to hear any success stories or about your experiences!

I’ve been doing fairly consistent rolling fasts (48/48/72) for the last 5 weeks and have lost 17 pounds. I haven’t felt this good in a really long time and am so excited to finally be feeling capable of reaching my ultimate goal.

I appreciate my fast days for the cleansing feeling I have during them and am much more conscious of what i eat for my meals.

In the beginning, I focused on the fasts more than the meals (making sure I was fasting clean and going for the right lengths and keeping my meals in a strict 4 hour window). Once I got traction in my fasting, I was able to overcome the urge to shove anything within reach into my mouth and put more thought into the quality of my meals.

Overall, I recommend just being patient with yourself. Don’t give up if you fall short. Get right back on track and keep going. It’ll get better. And the rapid results make it even more bearable 😍

I’m currently doing 72’s until the tuesday before thanksgiving. So far so good! The thought of being able to eat without restriction on my eating days makes it so worth it lol, I hate counting calories and stuff like that
