Blueberries what some ideas

I recently bought some delicious blueberries, so when I saw they were on sale I overloaded with them. Yummy. Got home and there not bad, but soft. I prefer them with a firm crunch, anyway there not going to really be my delicious snack I was hoping for. Got ideas how to eat them without turning into pies and muffins

Pancakes, waffles or oatmeal with blueberries are all yummy options. You can make healthier versions of pancakes and waffles very easily, using ingredients like mashed bananas, Greek yogurt, eggs, almond flour, etc.

I love making a compote out of blueberries. I put a small pot on the stove and add a bunch of blueberries and a little bit of coconut sugar or stevia. Once it boils I simmer it on low and it’s so good! 👌🏼

Always try to get smaller more purple-ish ones, they’ll be crunchier and and firmer. I personally found the ones from Peru are more likely to be so - if yoy have that option to choose -.

I’d also put it into freezer and eat it before it gets frozen, always firmer.

Answer

I use them almost every morning straight from the freezer for my breakfast shake.1/2 cup. B.berry1 ea. Apple (cored)1/2 ea. Beet1ea. BananaBlend with either almond milk, yogurt or 100% grape juice depending on how I feel. I also add supplements depending on the day and my scheduled routine.

If you are still undecided on what you wish to use yours in they freeze really well and can stay for up to 3 month if stored properly.
