In one of his sample 24 hour fast protocol, Dr Fung has cottage cheese on the menu for breakfast on a non fasting day. Made me wonder….does cheese raise Insulin?
Surprised although this cottage cheese has 3g of carbs. I know fung isnt pushing keto so figuring he is suggesting a variety of foods on his non fast days. The carbs he says to limit are processed foods and grains. Cottage cheese and buffalo ricotta cheese are not grains nor processed. At least I hope they are not. Amd I will keep them to a minimum.
