Do you still get benefits from fasting once every two weeks?

I can only fast on every other Sunday due to home and work life. If it were up to me, it’d be once a week but I really don’t have that choice atm.

Would I still be cleansing my body if I do it for a full day once every two weeks?

Answer

How long do you fast? I’m not sure once a week would do much for you. (Sorry, now I see you do a full day, still not sure if that will help much so infrequently)

Are people forcing you to eat, or rather, your family making you feel obligated to eat?

Answer

You get benefits from fasting even if you only did it once a year. You would get more benefits if you did it more often, of course … and there is a fuzzy line somewhere, where it might be ‘too’ much, depending on the person. But it’s better to fast when it’s convenient than not fast at all.

This assumes you are getting sufficient nutrient density in the foods you do eat, of course.
