One day rest is required for muscle recovery. but I think dryfasting will speed up muscle recovery. I can also build much more muscle because it increases growth hormone. It also increases insulin sensitivity, it incrases muscle growth. and that’s why I think it’s perfect bodybuilding. In addition, muscle loss does not occur while burning fat, some people may lose as much as more than ten kilograms of muscle because of this alone. If you don’t experience this muscle loss, and along with other things, it could be almost equivalent to doping. If we are in dryfasting, the muscles can be damaged more. This may seem like a bad thing, but it is a sign that you are doing a better workout as long as you are not injured. Since the water content in the muscles is reduced, the microfibers tear more. During healing, these tears are replaced with larger ones. in this way, hypertrophy occurs.
I posted something similar to this not so long ago and I agree that there is potential to really improve muscle growth/recovery from fasting due to HGH. If you can fast and spike your HGH, then workout fasted and subsequently eat a meal then your HGH is going to be high and the rate of recovery a lot better… theoretically.
But the only reason I doubt this might be the case is because Cole Robinson’s tried every fasting regimen there is and doesn’t do this for muscle growth so it makes me wonder if maybe it might not work.
However I feel like there could be an argument to say that the less often you eat the better your body will be at utilising nutrients so maybe
a fasted workout (dryfasted for 24hrs plus for example) could potentially lead to better protein synthesis from a workout then refeed
