Fasting 5-6 Days a week

Hey everyone I’ve got question. For starters 27/M/CW:210/GW:185. Has anyone practiced IF for 5 or 6 days of the week rather than every day consecutively? I feel like IF is going to be tough for me socially on Friday nights/Saturdays because my Fiancé and I will often meet our friends out for drinks, dinner, or meet at someone’s house for a potluck get together. I think I can reasonably stick to the routine from Sunday Morning through Friday Afternoon. I feel like while maybe not ideal can still be a successful strategy and wanted to see what experiences others had had in similar situations.

My personal approach is to ease on the schedule on the weekends, but still try to eat roughly the same overall. So if I know I’m going out that might mean sticking to a lighter second meal that day and little to no snacking. I find this is a nice way to keep it rolling but still incorporate life, which ultimately needs to be the end goal any ways.

there are 2 aspect to IF. 1. time range 2. how many times u eat. i focus on the how many times i eat rather than time.

i am a person with very poor will power. if i let go oh boy! i LET GO!

so i don’t see why u can’t carry on over the weekend and change the times.

that’s what i do as i have same issues with friends. i restrict to 1 big meal n 1 or 2 small meals.
