Fasting for the anti-aging benefits?

I’m wondering if anyone has used fasting for its anti-aging benefits and if they have seen any results.😊

I’m only 2 months into Adf and I have seen 2 benefits. 1) about 2 years ago I started getting scaley freckles on my legs - they are all gone since about 2wks ago (scales, not freckles). Last year i asked my doc bc I was worried about them, but she said nbd it’s common with age 😳. 2) I broke my ankle 2 years ago and had a 1 inch scar that had not improved in over a year… last 2 months it has drastically faded. Female, 43yr old. Btw, ADF helped me lose 8lb covid weight (yay!)

I’ve been intermittent fasting, twice a week 36 hours, sometimes doing the 5:2 small evening meal, for a few years now. It definitely reduces inflammation, and that’s my primary motivator, but I’m confident it has anti-aging benefits too. Hard to prove that anecdotally of course, but I’ll let you know in 10 years. One data point. Can’t really afford methylation biological age tests to verify, though that would be one way of doing so.
