I crave sugar when I wake up. Only need a little. A few sips of OJ or coke wakes me right up. After that, I can go several hours without eating no problem. No hunger for hours.
On the other hand, skipping that little sugar boost has me in a total brain fog, plus hunger & lack of physical energy, until I finally eat.
Any suggestions for how to get past this? Water and other calories free drinks don’t help. I take addrall when I wake up - as prescribed by my doctor - it helps with brain fog in general, but not this specific issue, so I doubt coffee is going to make much difference either.
It takes about a month to adjust to new feeding patterns..
But why not just shift the eating window? It would align better with circadian rhythms and insulin sensitivity. Might improve your sleep as well.
