Has anyone here built themselves up to fasting consecutive days?

A lot of people here try and do it all in one go, but has anyone gradually built up a tolerance to extended fasting by adding 2 hours a week until you’re eventually at your desired goal, or something similar?

Answer

I did intermittent fasting for weeks before I got into extended fasting. Nothing incremental, it just kind of happened naturally and I usually just fast for a day or two a week, sometimes more but that’s rare. Take it easy and move at your own pace. Fasting is much easier than I expected and I think that’s partly because of this approach

Answer

I went from skipping breakfast to skiping lunch to only doing 1 meal a day to alternate day fasting to be able to do regular 72h fasts.

Adding 2 hours doesn’t really work but adding a meal you skip works well. So if you can skip breakfast try skipping lunch next if you can skip lunch skip whole day till next day.
