It will extract the water soluble contents for sure. But if you’re asking about how much protein, carbs, fats etc. You are getting from that it is really impossible to say, but getting that type of ‘nutrition’ from teas is really not the point. The water soluble polyphenols, flavonoids etc. Is what you are getting and it isn’t a waste of time.
Even tho it might also be beneficial and recommended to make food out of ginger and turmeric to get more benefits.
