How will not eating breakfast affect my sleep schedule?

I’m doing intermittent fasting (16hr, 8pm to 12pm). I skip breakfast because it’s easier than lunch and dinner. I read something about circadium rhythm changing depending on light exposure and the time you eat meals. I sleep from around 1AM to 8 AM. I can’t afford my sleep schedule to drift even further since it will start to affect my daily routines.

Answer

I find that eating too close to my sleep time, particularly carbs and sugar, affects me (I can’t sleep on time AND I get night terrors). You could try late breakfast and lunch, or lunch and very early dinner, if you wanna experiment with your meals.
