I smell better while fasting

I know most people say they smell bad in ketosis. I noticed the exact opposite. My pits and crotch just smell “human”, not stinky like when I’m eating carbs. Am I alone?

Well, while dry fasting, I don’t shower and I really sweat a lot. My body really heats up while dry fasting, something I haven’t noticed with water fasting. So the heat, sweat, and not showering is a pretty good formula for must for me 😂 I change my bedding after three days and find the armpit must hard to shower off after three days of not showering. However, once I’ve completed the fast (and vigorous showering), every part of my body smells spectacular! In fact the only thing that changes that gorgeous scent everywhere is when I start to eat too much refined white sugar products. That’s the only thing. And since I’ve been on the medical medium diet, dry fasting has been easier to do and I smell fresh always.

Same here. It’s just that your body is not in a heavy detox load as when you are normally eating food. The less intake of toxins simply the less toxic clearing. In the case of dryfasting. We can start clearing old toxins stored away. And if there are lots of backload released in the system it gets cleared away very quickly always maintaining a cleaner system as it clears the next layer day to day. Same thing happens in a Fruitarian plant based diet. Any diet that promotes less toxic garbage or more clearing of toxins would seem to have that effect.
