Intermittent fasting & 4 scoops of whey or milk powder/ day. What else can I add to my diet?

I take 4 scoops of whey/day. Is it too much? What are your other sources of protein when you’re fasting?

About a month ago, I had a sort of intuitive feeling that I wasn’t getting enough protein. Because of my cardio activity level, I’ve been craving carbs more, but need to work on getting more protein in too. I’ve added up protein consumption on several days, and it’s usually around 40 grams

So here’s the question: how are so many of you getting so much protein in? I often see posts with people saying they’re getting 60-100 grams daily. HOW? What are you eating that’s so protein dense? I do have a serving of vegan protein powder every morning (I digest it better than whey protein), but would love some other easy protein recommendations, because I tend to have whey during the day as well. Recommendations for both vegan and non vegan options Please and thanks!

For reference, I’m 5’6,” 118 lbs. Have lost maybe 10ish(?) pounds this year

Answer

Vegan here so Vegan sources of protein.

A block of tofu is around 36g protein. 2 blocks a day is easily over 60g protein.

Pumpkin seeds and nuts are dense in protein. Make a salad with tofu and seeds/nuts is a great combo.

Peanut butter. Just be careful of the saturated fat.

Beans and lentils are excellent and clean sources as well.

Seitian if you can have gluten.

Tempeh is high in protein too.
