The lowest amount I’ve seen mentioned on here (I’m new as of today) is 16:8. However I just downloaded a tracking app and it recommended starting at 14:10. I’m M 5’9 167 with and goal of 150. Would you recommend easing into this new thing at 14:10 or try starting at 16:8 to really get results?
If you are well rested i would just go straight to 16-8. It might make it harder to fall asleep if your eating window is in the afternoon until you get used to it. Just bite the bullet. You will be uncomfortable either way first time. Drink some pickle juice and start the timer. Water is your friend.
I would just do 16:8. Anything less than that really isn’t fasting.
16:8 is just as easy to adjust to at 14:10. So I think you are just dragging the adjustment process out unnecessarily to get to 16:8.
Don’t make this more intimidating or harder than it has to be. It may take a few days or weeks to get in the groove, but 16:8 really isn’t that bad.
