Answer

My brother is on his 8th day of dry fasting…

It’s always an at your own risk… none of us are your physician.

Just sharing that other’s have done it.

I’m on day 3

Edit: I would also like to share that in the past.. my brother cured a foot infection by dry fasting. The doctors wanted to dig around on his foot. He’s diabetic. Instead he had me take him out of the hospital where he went home to dry fast for a week… healed his foot

He’s really big on dry fasting now

Answer

Honestly, I don’t really see a good reason to dry fast for so long, going 9 days is not really an easy thing while it might not be without risk either, when you don’t have any health problem. The benefit/risk ratio does not seem in favor of it.

Answer

Most overweight people likely can as there are documented cases of up to 18 days and the function of fat is to preserve fat and water for that kind of event. There are always exceptions though so make sure you’re not one beforehand.
