First fast for 7 days, is that safe?

I (25F \~150 lbs 5’3”) am currently on day 3 of my first ever water fast and so far so good. I definitely have cravings and low energy but nothing crazy however today I started to get restless legs and I noticed my heart was beating kind of fast even though I’ve done basically nothing all day. I am taking electrolytes (potassium, magnesium, chloride, sodium) and am intending to do the full seven days.

Is there anything dangerous or to be concerned about by doing 7 days for my first ever fast?

Answer

Nothing wrong with doing seven days for your first fast. However if you start to feel lightheaded, I’d stop if I were you.

If you do stop, try to eat keto as it will make going into the next fast a lot easier.
